Y-3 Kohna Futuristic

My prize for winning the Y3SGGIVEAWAY, this Kohna Futuristic sneaks by the Japanese streetwear brand Y-3. Primarily donned in a black and white colourway, that made me fall in love in an instant. The brand’s creative fuel Yohji Yamamoto never failed to impress me.

A standout from Y-3 Spring/Summer 2015 collection, these Y-3 trainers boasts that futuristic running style that has a classic silhouette. It is absolutely light and flexible because of its stretch neoprene sock main body and the split moulded sole technology.

The design has predominantly muted color palette of black and white with tonal stitching, neoprene tongue, plastic lace holders with accent laces. Recognisable three-striped sportswear symbolism situated at the back heel makes it an eyecatcher. The Yohji Yamamoto marks on both outer sides of the soles and a minimal Y-3 branding right in front makes people curious on what is the brand of this dope shoes.
